At the start of a Robin, the mods will create a post with various ideas for a plot/theme. New writers will be added to the round. There will also be a discussion of limits and rules for this specific Robin, which authors will agree to abide by. A quick synopsis will be included as a starting point. This synopsis will not be considered part of the story. All of this information will be placed into a Header post, which will be linked from the sidebar and profile. The Header will be updated as the Robin progresses.
After a plot and the rules have been agreed upon, the first person in the Round (usually a Mod) will create a post beginning the story. The main body of the post will set the scene with the scene info and a link to the Header Post for that Robin. All additions to the story should be posted as a comment to the main post. The story should never nest. Any replies to specific parts of the story should be placed as a comment in reply to that part.
The post will continue until the end of the scene. After a scene ends, the person who is next in line will start the next scene in a new post (containing the post information and link to the Header), and then will continue the Robin in the comments. The story will go until it's been wrung dry, or until we all get bored, whichever comes first. When that happens, a new mod post will go up to discuss the next robin. While this is happening, we may ask for volunteers to finish the story.
And then it starts all over again.
